New Year

Its not 1130 pm the last 30 minutes of 2008. This has been a great year and a sad year for the world. This year we had a presidential campaign that was amazing. We had a woman, black man and older man. Obama won the election.
This year in Indiana we had beautiful seasons. The leaves for the fall were bright and beautiful. Its has snowed some.
I have decided to make some New Year goals. I have to stick to a few of them because they relate to my health. I am grateful for the gospel. In this year I have grown more of in the gospel and knowing my Heavenly Father. I realize how much I need him in my life.
I have grown more as a woman this year. I am in school and I have made Dean list every semester. For this I am so excited I have never been good in school as a youth.
In my addiction I have grown as a person, I realize how important the steps are in my life to maintain a healthy living. I cant really remember the last time I even thought about using.
In this year I have learned more about what type of woman and friend and mother I want to be.
The boys are amazing. Aaron had a hard start of the year, but has overcome his struggle and I am very proud of his progression. Aaron is amazing and I am so blessed to have him. He has great work ethic and he is smart. He loves life and has alot of friends.
Kevin has moved to Fort Wayne, IN. I really miss him. He is a great friend and I really liked having him home. I am proud of him he is starting Nursing school and he has a nice apartment in Fort Wayne. He has great work ethics and he has a strong family sense about him.
Jason is finishing his masters at Cornell. Jason has grown alot as a person this year. I know he has learned to be grateful for all the help he has at being successful. Jason is growing closer to his family again and its so nice to have him back.
Just yesterday we met Jason girlfriend, Liz. The brothers and greg thinks she is wonderful. Now i know why. We went to Art museum today and it was nice to watch the two of them together. I really like the fact that both of them allowed them to be their selves. It has been a good year.

thinking about nieces and nephews

I have one sister and she has 6 kids. I think my sister is amazing. I love her with all my heart. I love Nancy Noel pictures and I am blessed to have 5 of her pictures. My mom at Christmas and Hobby show helps me buy one every year. This year she helped me buy this one. It hangs on the wall in my bedroom where you can see it by walking down the hall. I love to walk by it because it reminds me of my little niece Deborah. She is two and she is a joy to have in our family.

I am off today

Its been so nice to be out of school and off work this much. I have enjoyed my days off and hate the thought of going back to work. I am so tired. Matter of fact it is concerning me just how tired I am feeling for the last two weeks. I know its not because of how much I work. I am going to the doctor on Wednes. I know my lungs are worst, I can feel it. Who knows right? Everything is part of Heavenly Fathers plan.

The real reason for Christmas

I love Christmas and all the things that go with it. I love the busy shopping and the crowds. But mostly I love the fact its the one time of year that people stop and think about all those that they love and they stop and think about strangers. People care about the homeless and the poor. Even people who never care anytime of the year. The little children are worried about presents for mama and their daddies. I love the lights and the laughter of people. I love the mall on Christmas eve. I love Santa and everything he is and everything he stands for.
Mostly I am grateful to my Father in Heaven for the fact that he send his son. So the little babe could be born to save each of us. I am grateful for Mary that she lived her life so that she could fulfill a mission to be the mother of the son of God. I am so grateful Joseph that he was a kind and obedient man that when he was told that Mary was with Child that he had the faith to know that it was the son of God.
I am grateful for parents who taught true charity by example. Who taught us that we may have little but their is always someone who has less. I am grateful that they have taught me the gospel and how to want to live a Christ like life. I love my family and am grateful everything I have.

At the end of the day

At the end of Christmas only one that didnt rest is mom. She worked the hardest and everyone is sleeping or relaxing
It sure was a Great Day!!! P.s. only thing that would make it better was if Tina and family was here.

The boys father

Sorry for all the pictures. Greg is the father of my sons and he is included in on all holidays. We believe that divorce is between us not our children. All the presents for the boys are from Mom and Dad. We both remember each other and he spends the day with us at my parents. I am grateful that he is the father of my boys and that he is so good to me.

Mom and Dad after Tina letter

This is my parents. I am so grateful to them. Mom always passes the presents out and she always worries about not doing it right. But she always does a great job. i always worry about getting him the right gifts. I just want to show them both how great and how grateful I am for their love and their example in my life.

My younger sister send her presents and then she always sends a letter last year it was to annouce the arrival of Ryan. This year it was just a graditude letter. But it always fun to see and to hear.

The Light in my Life

The boys are all home and they enjoyed opening presents and they are always so grateful. Which I always feel so blessed because of them. I know that they are amazing. They were the best part of my Christmas.

The dogs of our lives

Even the dogs at Mom house is looking for Santa. The one on the left is Lucky and he is tired. Cindy is 12 years old and she watches and looks forward to Santa.

Great Christmas

At Moms
Every room is decorated and you can feel the magic.
We all spend the night at mom and Dads. Heres some picture. We finally decorated the tree on Christmas eve after Kevin got home . I think Mom has this way of making Christmas so special. I know its because she loves it so much. It just rubbed off on us. Even the dolls get dressed for Christmas and arrival of Santa
